LaunchX has been empowering high school students for the last decade to learn business principles and implement them. Students attending one of the LaunchX Entrepreneurship Programs start a business, while those attending the Innovation Program get to consult with existing companies to solve a real problem.
Applying early has benefits
By applying and getting accepted to LaunchX, you are opening up a new opportunity for this summer. However, the earlier you apply the more benefits you receive during the application season.

Secure your spot at LaunchX
Brilliant students from around the world have been joining LaunchX in the summer to change their corner of the universe by solving a problem they see in their community.
Unfortunately, there are not an unlimited amount of spots available in each program. When all seats have filled up, that is it for the year. Don’t wait too long and miss out on a seat in a program.
Priority program choice
In your LaunchX application, you can select which program or programs you are applying to and your priority of the programs. Similar to the last benefit, waiting too long may mean that your first choice of program fills up.
For the greatest chance of getting your first program choice, apply early.
Smaller group of applicants
LaunchX has always been a prestigious program that brings together the best high schoolers from around the world. Our application is long because the admissions committee considers many factors for applicants to ensure the best program experience for Launchies.
The admissions committee looks at the current group of applicants for insight into how you compare to the rest of the applicants. Applying earlier in the season means there are fewer applicants to be compared to – increasing your odds of getting in.
As the admission season continues, there is more competition as more applicants are in the system. Applying early is the best way to increase your odds of acceptance.
Admissions decision sooner
The admissions process for LaunchX is anything but trivial. There are multiple reviews of the application, interviews, committee reviews, and more, all to ensure incredible experiences for our LaunchX students.
Due to the high number of applicants, the admissions decision takes time to complete. Admissions decisions are on a first-come-first-serve basis, meaning the earlier you apply, the earlier you can get your decision.
Plus, as more applicants typically apply later in the season, there will be more of a delay as the admissions committee has to process the applications. Applying earlier gets you a decision sooner – meaning that you can plan your summer more effectively.
Save money on the fee
You can save money on your application fee by applying earlier. We reduce the application fee by 40% if you apply by the Priority Application Deadline, and 20% if you apply by the Early Application Deadline. There is no reason to spend more on the fee.
Committing to finish
We understand that life is busy with school, extra-curricular activities, and life in general. Finishing the application can feel like a big step, we have found that committing to finish the application is the hardest step.
