LaunchX students are eager to start their own companies. They often wonder how they can choose the best startup idea, so we’ll run through some frequent questions here to help you prepare for your application and onboarding to LaunchX.

Should I apply again if LaunchX declined me last year?

If you applied to LaunchX high school entrepreneurship program previously and were not admitted, there's still hope. In fact, your chances of admittance will be much higher when you apply again this year.

What is the typical profile of a LaunchX Admitted Student?

Although there’s no single perfect formula or profile of the perfect LaunchX admitted student, here are a few examples of admits from this past year to give you a better idea of what appealed to our admissions committee.

Entrepreneurship is More than Starting a Company

Some people believe that entrepreneurs are defined by starting companies, but entrepreneurs have a mindset about all that they do - pushing themselves outside of their comfort zone, solving problems, and helping others with their innovations. You may already be an entrepreneur and not realize it!

Social Events at LaunchX Virtual

Despite being virtual, LaunchX was so fun in large part thanks to the social events we had sprinkled throughout the six weeks. After all, the reason why LaunchX is such a great experience is that you meet such phenomenal people along the way!

High school senior starts company to help limit kids’ screen time

Kub LLC provides a system that incentivizes children to reduce their screen time. It works with local companies such as ice cream shops or museums, which advertise coupons on Kub LLC’s website.
